Ride up back roads and highway cycle lane to Ourimbah, then up Dogtrap Road to Wiseman's Ferry Rd. Enjoy a relaxed lunch at Central Mangrove Golf Club overlooking the bush and golf course, before returning to Gosford via Freeway and Ourimbah. This is essentially a Grade 6 (medium) ride with a longish steep section up Dogtrap Hill, resulting in an overall Grade of 8 (Hard). See below for an easier option.

For the easier option, join in at the top of Dogtrap Hill about 10.30 am. Return with main group as far as freeway entry where, instead of joining the freeway, you will continue on to pick up your car at the top of Dogtrap Hill.
